Masa meeting di Kedai Kopi 2 Shah Alam (Belakang Masjid Negeri - Tempat biasa entertain client saya) ropa-ropanya me and Hawa are schoolmate masa sekolah rendah di Klang (A private school). Rumah kitaorang pun dekat sahaja masa dia duduk di Section 2 (The family moved to section 4 until now).
So hari ditetapkan pada cuti Krismas dan lokasi penembakan (shooting -hahaha direct translation pulak) ialah di Putrajaya. Sebenarnya both of them ni kerja within 500meters je ofis memasing. Redza dengan Scan Associates (Station di Jabatan Perdana Menteri) dan Hawa dengan another Government Department (tetiba lupa pulak namanya).
Amru dibantu oleh Izwa @ Yomie iaitu anak murid yang sangat saya sayang (dan selalu jadi assistant waktu shooting). Dengan 2 buah kamera dan 3 buah lens from wide to tele and macro, it took 6 hours and 2 costume changes. We all cover area near Masjid Putra, Shangrila, taman-taman dan in front of Palace of Justice.
Redza & Hawa sangat sporting (siap belanja makan lunch...thanks!). Sanggup mencuba pelbagai jenis pose dan kerap kali bagi idea how to improve the shots.

The reception held 2 weeks ago at Afnan's family home in Sec 8, Shah Alam.
A bit of history here....
Afnan is a classmate from the legendary Form 3 Amanah of 96'. After that dia masuk sekolah asrama. but then jumpa balik masa start Diploma in Computer Science (1999) di UiTM Shah Alam.
Seyber is a classmate masa Diploma & Degree. Kisah cinta diaorang berdua bermula masa cuti semester nak naik Part 3. Amru, Afnan & several others enroll in a intersession course (Programming level 2 - ITC160) at UiTM Jengka. Duduk kat tempat jin bertendang selama 5 minggu. Masa kat Jengka ni lah baru Afnan selalu duk calling seyber pakai public phone...mana ada handphone masa tu.hehehe. I still remember prepaid Hotlink RM192 for 1 pack...giler sungguh mahal.
Lepas-lepas tu sah la diaorang ni ber couple. Sampai sekarang...ada la dekat 7 tahun (or lebih kot). Rumah masing2 pun tak jauh...sorang Shah Alam, Seyber di Subang Jaya. For the reception amru datang as a member je.....Lagi pun pagi tu baru sampai dari KT. Shooting pasangan Ina & Fazrin di Batu Rakit (Near Airport KT). Sebab dah janji punya pasal....datang jugak la tapi shoot kawan2 je....nak tengok official pictures check Udey Ismail's website at www.udeyismail.com.

Pc baru 2 hari beli meletop.....voltage current tak stabil....semalam lepas 9 hours+ of continuous shooting...kena bergegas ke Low Yat naik public transport sambil mengangkat pc yang berat.....sakit belakang beb...habis lagi RM45 sebab beli AVR (Auto Voltage Regulator)..so lepas ni selamat la PC aku dari meletop....editing work bertimbun lagi ni....tapi at least elok dari takde job pulak kan..

Just when I finally get my weekends full with shooting engagements (money coming in)..several of my equipments decided to retire (money going out)...... Among the casualties are my SB600 flash (Dead!), My 4 eyar old PC (Slow to the point of cannot finish a lot of my work.....deadline overrun!).
So yesterday I went ot LowYat with Anan and buy myself a brand new CPU.
- AMD Athlon X2 4000+ (2.1GHz) Processor
- Kingston 2GB DDR2 667MHz RAM
- Western Digital 320GB HDD SATA 16MB (Love it...blazing fast!)
- Gigabyte motherboard
- ProLogic Case
Total Cost RM880...yeah!
Now I have to think how to buy myself a new SB800...hmmm |

I decided to make it a list without time frame, without limit, and with utmost ambition. bUt here I just list several that i wish to achieve in the next year.
1. Achieving 5 figure gross income for EF - achieved this year. Next year -> 6 figure...at least RM100,000.00!
2. Upgrading/adding into my arsenal of gears -> 2x D300, Nikkor 18-200mm VR, 10-20mm Sigma, Tamron Macro 90mm f2.8, Nikkor 70-200 VR f2.8, NIkkor 50mm f1.4, 2x SB800 Speedlight, 1x Macbook, A 1 Terabyte HDD and others
3. Setting up and establishing enchantedForest's new Studio in Shah Alam offering quality studio services. enchantedStudio should be operational by June!
4. Going to 2 trips or more this year. One of those shoud be the Scuba Diving License I've been dreaming since last year. The other one......maybe Phuket/Kinabalu (Again!),
5. Shooting at least 8 - 12 weddings a month. Not an easy feat..but achievable! Chayo Chayo!
6. Start saving money for 3 things:
a. My impending marriage next year (June 2009...everybody's invited. But don't ask me
who's the bride.....not decided yet..hehehe).
b. My own car.....Savvy or BLM? who knows.....
c. My own Investment fund. Nuff said
7. Less spending...and more saving!
8. Continue spreading joy through my pictures.....at least to my fotopages/flickr followers and the people near me.....I'll do free photoshoots this year..if I have the time. ANd I'm gonna burn the pics from events i cover this year and give to those who wanted it. Not just letting it stay in the harddisk for month...and years....
9. Be a better person. Business wise, spiritually, PR etc.
More to come....haha...cannot think of more list....

Majlis berjalan dengan lancar. Cuaca sangat elok dan amrufm bergembira menembak dengan 2 kamera. Amelie (D50) disambung dengan Nikkor 80-200 f2.8 dan Alice (D80) disambung dengan Tokina 12-24 f4. Senang shoot dekat dan jauh. Tapi sakit tengkok la pulak lepas shooting wakakaka....berat 2 body.
Family pengantin is very friendly and definitely not camera shy. Semuanya tersenyum, tersengih dan tergelak saja....Habis saja majlis, pengantin dibawa untuk sesi outdoor shoot pulak. but that's another story....full set ofpics at enchantedforest flickr. |
