| Quote: | Hi guys.....This event was held earlier this month, an art event held at Taman tasik Shah Alam. Invitation oleh orang kuat layar tanchap, Syai (which happens to be a member of Candid Syndrome Forum) and ada geng malam tu (Farina yg datang sangat lambat..).
Everybody yang nak menyanyi can do so, baca syair, bukak booth....tak boleh jual makanan aje. Disamping berhibur ada juga dibuat kutipan derma untuk rumah anak yatim. SO berhiobur sambil menderma. Dalam banyak-banyak band yang paling best is Funky Doryz and also one rapping band (forgot the band name...) and aso Miss Fynn yang menyanyi (or puisi is it) impromptu but very symbolic.
Trade my wide angle Tokina with Farina's Nikkor 18-200 VR lens....tried shooting handheld without flash for most shot. And also alternative angles. Never once I went in front to shoot the bands. Mostly using the 200mm end of the lens....maybe I'll get one in the future...specially for travel (and naik gunung...takyah tukar2 lens). |

Surini's birthday at Amarin Heavenly Thai at Midvalley Megamall, 28th July 2007.
Attendees includes Shahrul, Surini (bday girl), Wafi, Bokhari, Amrufm, Taznim, Fazu & Bf, Siti Farah & Shahrul K, Soraya, Razlan and Miss Qarina Sofeya.
The Food was quite delicious, eventhough the price is a bit steep, we get into groups and ordered food according to our budget. My group is ordered the tom yam goong, cahew nut chicken and kangkung belacan. Extra rice is required...hehe
A very nice setting, quite romantic actually, not many people coz we came after lunch hour rush (around 2.30pm). The waitress are very friendly, though speaking in english is quite an effort for them...hahaha...overall a very nice restaurant. Foods section will be coverred in the next entry k....keep watching for more |

It was a surprise, complete with Mango cake from Secret Recipe (Totally D'lish). We came at 6, dengan instructions yang mengelirukan from Shahrul (All other cars sesat jalan hahaha). The place was actually owned by the same people who created bora ......(tak ingat la pulak....). The concept was Bali all the way to the construction, water features, pondoks, decoration, food (thank god no babi guling here  )
Food was ok...can budget. Got nasi goreng, some chicken, pasta (so-so). The drinks was quote ok....Had the lime juice (very good), tried the ABC (nice too) and Air Kelapa.
The surprise part was quite surprising, only Agus didn't know about it, he was quite speechless when we presented the cake with the word "HAPPY BIRTHDAY AGUS ANACONDA" hahaha priceless.
And yeah, Bora Asmara was located at ........I totally forgot, except you must pass One Utama, then take a right (go to the other side....)and yeah..totally forgot where it is....just google it k. Next entry is the food Yeah! |
