- What makes me feel bad? My Mac has to be sent for repairs (1 Week at most). Suddenly the screen ada lines. As long as no money involved I guess it's ok lor...but I'm gonna fall behind in my editing works I....sigh 
+ Bought some items at Low Yat Plaza yesterday...New 4GB thumbdrive (Lost one last week) for RM25 (kingston Data Traveller - no cap). 320 GB portable HDD for RM275 (cheap!), New card reader that can read SDHC cards (Apacer - RM25) and stacks of DVD. It time for data backing (after much delaying). In January I'm getting a 1 Terabyte HDD...hopefully the price will fall below RM500 by then.
+ I'm still available for weddings/engagement shoot for the 2 last weeks of November (22 & 23, 29 & 30). Many more dates still available for next year. But quite a few is being filled (Feb, March, May). Keep em coming! Wedding packages still range around RM800-1800 per event (shot by me personally).
+ Bought new Nike Cortez (kira as a birthday present....). Black with Red swoosh. After my White Cortez with red swoosh kena curi last year, Nike discontinued that color combination...and the price rise by RM30 in a year! last year it's RM169...this year it's RM199...
- Watched Quantun of Solace last week. It's a dissapointment. No continuation in the plot, illogical action scene, blunders (He can't event differentiate between O (oooo) and 0 (zero) ). The only saving grace is Olga Kurylenko.....Damn she's hot!

| Quote: | The birthday party was held last saturday (8th November) at KFC Sec 14 PJ. A simple party...with a pirate theme. Lots of kids running around. The KFC staff did a very good job of organizing the party. Special appearance by Chicky makes the kids go wild. They simply had a very good time.

Hari ini genap umur saya 27 tahun.
Selamat Hari Lahir buat Amrufm.
Semoga murah rezeki, panjang umur, sentiasa berada dalam golongan hamba-hamba yang mukmin, semoga dapat kahwin tahun depan, semoga dapat beli D700 yang diidamkan dan semoga sukses selalu.

*Menghabiskan hari jadi dengan pergi ke Temerloh dan mengeshoot wedding member...what a way to celebrate

The story of "Royal wedding - behind the scenes"

We arrive in Pekan after 4 hours on Wednesday. Billboards like this are scattered around Pekan. The events start on Thursday (nikah), sambung on friday pagi (Khatam Quran), malam (berinai), Saturday malam (bersanding & bankuet dinner) and lastly on Sunday pagi (bersiram).
Muka tak jumpa hotel...terpaksa call Tengku Nurul for direction. At the back is Istana Abu Bakar, Pekan. Hanya digunakan for official purposes & events.

Before the nikah ceremony. We all are required to wear baju melayu full with samping or suits. Songkok wajib for all males inside the istana (except police and army officer).

+Rabu depan EF mengorak langkah lagi...Our first VVIP wedding. Details later...banyak betul secrecynya...hahaha
+My diet bersambung dari bulan puasa..so far so good. Refrain from eating at night. Kurangkan rice & strictly no softdrinks.
+Metallica's new album "Death Magnetics" is a 5 star collection of songs. Totally rocks. lagunya panjang2 (5 to 10 minutes each...purata around 7 1/2 mins each). Kirk hammet's long solo, Ulrich's drum beats and unpredictable change in each song is a killer combination. My fav? The Day That Never Comes, Cyanide and Suicide & Redemption
+Harini lepak with Wafi...layan muvi "Pathology" and makan at Subway. Tomorrow kerja bertimbun...so last minute lepak is nice.
+One of my D80 is still being repaired at Nikon....Dah Sebulan 3 weeks. Maybe another 2 weeks...susah shooting with only 1 camera. Counting the day to buy 2 new D90 bodies. Higher frame-per-second rate, higher ISO capabilities, bigger lcd screen. Totally helpful. maybe early november by the latest.
+I'm thinking of someone. She doesn't know it X>
+I'm also seriously thinking of my life's path. A lot of sacrifices need to be made in order to be successful. Do I have the willpower and resolve to do that?

Masjid Tengku Tengah Zaharah (Masjid terapung) in Kuala Ibai. Our family's favorite Masjid for Solat Sunat Aidil Fitri.

The new landmark of Terengganu. I think it's a sheer waste of funds.

The family change plan on the last minute. Instead of balik to KT on the second day, we go back the day before raya (Jalan kosong! takde traffic jam pun) and balik Shah Alam on the third day.
2 new baju melayu (light pink/purple & a black ensemble) to offset 3 years of no baju melayu. new songkok, a new jeans, several shirts and that's my addition for the raya celebration.
Its kinda sad to bid farewell to Ramadhan. The diet plan is working. I've lost like 5 kilos in 1 month. So..during raya I can't drink any softdrinks (minuman berkarbonat), less sugary sweets, less rice (less carb actually) and lots of plain water. Malam tak boleh snacking! We'll see how things go from here...Hope i can lose another 5 kilos.
Got lots of Raya sms. Thanks guys. Former clients, member study, kakak angkat, long lost school friends, business associates, staff & crews, family members etc.
The kelakar thing is I still got duit raya this year. RM20 actually! hehehe...tapi semuanya bagi pada anak-anak sedara...giving is good izzit. Semoga murah rezeki dan dapat lagi banyak anak sedara....dan kena bagi lagi banyak tahun depan...amiiin.
Since my father's embargo on family piccies is still in effect, no family pics will be posted. But I really wanna pit this one (below pic). This is for little bro Imran (In Jordan). Eid Mubarak bro! See how big is my family. And it's not even complete...sebab banyak cousins yg balik beraya belah wife/husband masing2.

A couple of years back pernah juga berbuka kat sini and it was nice that the price remains the same (RM55.20 nett...I know it's expensive..but you go for the company...not just for the food) and the food quality AND quantity is even better.
Western selection: Roast beef, Lamb Chop, Sweet & Sour fish fillet, Potatoes Au Gratin, Past, Corn on the cob, Tomato soup & Sauteed vegetables.
Malay selection: Fried Meehoon, Plain rice, Tomato Rice, Fish fillet, Buttered prawns (The best!), Crabs, Chicken, Mee Kari, Murtabak (Another killer!), Roti jala (to be avoided), Sate (Beef & Chicken), 8 types of kerabu, Rojak, Kuih-muih, Sup daging.
Japanese & Chinese selection: Assorted types of sushi, dippings, Yong Tau Foo
Etc: Ice-cream, ABC, Soyabean milk, Sugarcane juice, 3 more types of drinks (no softdrinks though).
So... I ate through 4 plates of food, ABC & 4 glass of drinks. No ice-cream (still on diet). I eat no rice...hehehe |

The Story of "More Ramadhan Buffet updates"

I ate like 8 lamb cuts, 8 sausages, some squids, some kupang, 6 prawns, 20+ yong tau foo pieces, 3 fish cuts, some chicken slices, 6 scoops of ice cream, ABC and 6 cups of assorted drinks.
The thing is they only use the best in every offering. The drinks selection is quite interesting (ada peach, blackcurrant, sirap, soft drinks, plain water). Ice cream pula only yang premium (including Oreo ice cream...delish!). The seafood all fresh and meat selection ada banyak jenis perap (from teriyaki to black pepper to coffee..really I'm not kidding!).
All pics using my Nokia 3500 (2 megapixel camera) ...memang crappy...tapi dah diedit and resized.

Yang tak best sebab dah takde ice lemon tea and ice-cream. That sucks.
We stayed for 2+ hours. Terawih buat kat rumah aje...hehehe |
