The Story of "Ramadhan Seafood Buffet @ Umbai"

| Quote: | Went to Melaka for an Indian wedding shoot with Freakdiver aka hafiz Ismail yesterday and buka puasa at the new Medan Selera terapung at Umbai (The famous Ikan Bakar spot in Melaka.
Nakhoda Ikan Bakar ada buffet package worth Rm29.90 per pax so we decided to layan the buffet lah. The buffet line aje dah banyak lauk (more than 12). Ada choice of nasi lemak & nasi putih. Ada kuih-muih, air sejuk 4 jenis, boleh order whatever air lagi somemore. Desserts includes cendol and bubur pulut hitam, agar-agar etc.
The highlight includes Sup Tulang (sedap macam sup utara punya!), ikan bakar (we ordered the Siakap bakar sambal, Pari bakar & Pari bakar sambal and also Sotong Goreng Tepung. Memang delish!
Lain kali buka puasa memang kena at least sekali pekena kat sini. Sebab masa nak bayar dia siap bagi diskaun RM5...jadi bayarannya RM25 seorang aje!
I think we eat like RM100+ worth of food...wahahahaha

The Story of "Naadhira's big day"

When she announced that she's married (to a charming malay guy from Sabak Bernam who's working in UK) it's a shocker. 2 months later she came back for the majlis (bertandang & such). As I'm already booked for the month of August, she engage my service for her majlis berinai kecil, berinai besar & khatam quran.
The berinai kecil was a simple event. The henna was applied by a pro from Klang (Her details later for those yg nak cari tukang pasang inai). 2 of Dhira's friend also ada. Anita from Latvia (classmate during her Degree study in UK) and Unaisah (BFF).
The session was a blast. The bride couldnt stop beaming. And I think the design was really cool. Both Anita & Unaisah also had their hands applied with henna. |

Dhira's family is huuuge. But it was a lot of fun shooting the majlis. Lots of cute cousins is an added bonus. hehehe |

The Story of "RANtai Art Event Merdeka Edition"

Me, Fariz & Ai went the on Saturday. Spending time from 4pm till 11pm (7 hours!). RANtai is an amalgam of Art exhibition (Painting, Photography, Photo Editing & Manipulation, Fusion Art, Booth selling T-shirt, button badges etc etc & also performances by Acoustic & Live Band acts).
We hang around Kukubesi's masterpiece (Berontak Akil Baligh, click here), we enjoyed Funky Doryz & Kokokaina's performances, me and Ai buy new Lomolitos! We ate at Wendy's. Delish! And also I buys several new button badges to add to my camera bag. |

Performance that night was under very tricky and difficult lighting. With red light turned on during most of the performance I decided to crank the ISO to 1600 - 2500 and shoot entirely in B&W (In camera setting). Edit mostly with Totally RAD actions. |

The Story of "Pre-wedding tag along with ahmad fairus" UPDATED

Patutnya mula around 10am tapi hujan the whole morning menyebabkan kami mula around 3pm. Mula di Taman Warisan Putrajaya, then move to Parking near tasik/Masjid. We break for Solat and move to Taman Botani. Sekitar kul 7 habis shooting dn balik.
Tahniah juga pada Ahmadfairus sebab dh selamat ditunangkan minggu lepas. Tunangannya orang Indonesia. Tahun depan semua pergi Indon!
Dapat juga merasa rachun 85mm f1.8 Jidin...dan pengalaman pertama shoot model+kereta mahal.

| Quote: | Maya's 24th birthday mini party. More like a BBQ cum pot luck party. The Shah Alam gang (Me, Wafi, Shahrul & Faizal) came with 2 large pizzas. There's also spaghetti, cakes (Luv the authentic pandan cakes), meehoon goreng, chicken, sausages and Som Tam.
Maya just came back from Cardiff (She's a pharmacy student). And now dah habis belajar maybe in a short while we'all gonna hear wedding announcement la kot...hahahaha.
Anyways rumah Jazdee in Bangi gotta have the eeriest, darkest and creepiest road leading to the house. Seram sehh!
After the makan-makan and tengok bola (Liverpool wins 2-1 in extra time), we'all play UNO. mula-mula 6 orang ..akhirnya main 10 orang...hahaha. A fun filled game lasting 2 1/2 hours. Who can forget the +16 cards penalty (kena kat Noh) and Wafi's infamous UNO game yang premature! hahahahahaha .
I slept at 5am and bangkit at 7am. The shooting the whole day at the studio pulak. Massive headache later...wahahaha! |
