| Quote: | Layar Tanchap Shah Alam yang terakhir untuk 2008. Bertemakan Layar Tanchap Merdeka dan berlangsung di Laman Budaya Taman Tasik Shah Alam pada hari Sabtu 9 Ogos yang lalu.
Pertama kali juga berlangsung selama 9 jam (dari 4 petang hingga 1 pagi). Oleh kerana saya ada job pada malamnya dapat enjoy show petang dari 4pm ke 6.20 pm sahaja. Lepas job tu 12.30am saya kembali lagi dapat la tengok 2 group terakhir.

The Story of "Eat when you're troubled"

3 things I do when I'm troubled. [McD Big Breakfast]
1. Watch movie. [Char Kuay Teow]
2. Sleep. [Lemon Chicken Rice]
3. Eating. but before that must take photo. [French toast]
Sometimes I have my DSLR with me...sometimes I don't. [Kluang Station's Hainanese Chicken Chop]
If takde, hp camera also can maa. [Patin masak lemak with white rice]
But then the quality is not that good lor [Kuching city's Double Hot Dog with Cheese]
But the important thing is the picture mesti ada one. [Ikea's Hot Dog]

| Quote: | Imagine a wedding simple enough...without make-up session, without bersanding, without merenjis, without boring speeches. Well...this one is a very simple wedding but it doesn't mean that it is boring. For me the photographer had to be more creative in finding the perfect moment.
Sakeenah is the younger sister of my former primary classmate Suhaib. Their parents are my parent's friend too. When being told of the laid back nature of the event, I had to imagine what to shoot in an unusual environment such as this. The important moments to be captured includes the immediate family (including siblings, cousins, uncles & aunties). The parent and their guest (especially those handshakes and hugs), the VIP (State Exco Dato' Dr Hassan Ali is one of the guest) and the bride & groom's friends.
Both Sakeenah & Mashkur are 24 years old and they are still studying in medicine at a University in Ukraine. 2 more years till graduation. As for their love story...that one have to ask them....hehehe. Sakeenah is more camera friendly and keeps prducing those smile while Mashkur needs to be coached a bit. At the end of the majlis I took them out for 10 minutes of post-event shoot.

Apa yg diajar semasa bengkel tempoh hari adalah (mengikut priority)
1. Moment
2. Composition
3. Setting camera
4. Equipment
Having a 2.8 lens or a Mark III/D3 is good. Tapi the job can still be done with lesser equipments.

Gambar pertama dapat 3/10. Che Mat kata "Kita tak nak guna gambar ni" huhuhu
So...cuba lagi. Second submission dapat 9/10
Third submission pun dapat 9/10. Dan mengakibatkan gambar2 selepasnya Bazuki & Che Mat dah tak pandang...hehehe
Submission terakhir saya..rasanya macam silap pilih. Bazuki dan Che Mat kata "You just miss the moment"

The Story of "Sunrise in Teluk Tempoyak"

My future entries will tell you what we did in Penang. But the ones I'm gonna showcase is the beauty of sunrise at my water chalet. The water chalets were located in Teluk Tempoyak, Batu Maung. Near the airport and is located at the southern tip of Penang. It's not as beautiful as the ones in PD (Avilion) but come early morning....the sunrise is simply amazing. All these pics were shot in 3 exposures and combined in PS3. Add a bit of level, curve, gradient and sharpening.

The story of "Kuching trip - Bako National Park"

| Quote: | Bako National Park is located quite near to Kuching town. Naik bas No 6 Petra Jaya (RM2) about 30+ mins akan sampai ke Bako. Then naik Bot (max 5 pax per boat - trip 30 mins) akan sampai di main office of the Park. We decide to walk together with our new friends, Gerard, J & Sathiya.
First is the Paku Trail (specially for seeing Proboscis Monkey). After 40 mins of walking and no monkey in sight...we decided to try another trail...The Pandan Kecil & Pandan Besar Trail. Luckily minutes after starting the new trail we spotted 2 Proboscis monkey. Lots of Pitcher plants were also spotted. |
| Quote: | Pandan Besar Trail ends on a cliff overlooking a beach. marvellous sight but we can't go down. We then follows the Pandan Kecil trail which ends on a cliff just like the latter. But this time we can go down to the beach. Apa lagi...mandi lah...hahahaha..layaaaan.
Our boatman was already there waiting for us because from his experience a lot of tourist (just like us) wanted to go back straight and skip the 2 hour trek back to the main jetty.
We spotted crocs on our way to and back. See pic no 2 (the croc sunbathing with the backdrop of Mount Santubong). Other animals spotted includes snakes, silver haired monkey (just like in Bukit Melawati), Eagles and various plants.
